iOS 5 Breaktime

Leave it to Apple to provide a nice block of time free as my various iDevices backup to the iCloud in iHarmony.  I know... it's a sickness, but I like things that work with minimal effort.

So, one of the ways I tested out one of the new iOS 5 features was to set myself a reminder to finish at least three sketches in Volume 10 today.

I'm done and planning on getting two more done tomorrow.  If everything goes well, I should have the next volume of the comic ready to go by the time the current volume is done.  That would be a first for me, and a definite good step forward for the comic.

Now, the future plans...

Volume 10 is pretty good milestone, and a signal that it is time to shake things up.  Namely, I want to do a complete artwork upgrade.  Not just building off my templates, but really going back to the drawing board itself and really putting in a big effort to make the comic look a bit better.  I know that the 2.0 Version of the comic was left in a bit of a cliffhanger, but I think it really was trying to run both at once that was causing the initial burnout I began to feel.  I don't want to risk that again, but I think after the this and the next volume, it will be time to take the Classic Version to the next level.

The only thing that is standing in the way... The Walking Dead starts the new season this weekend, and I still have much of the third season of Breaking Bad to watch... curses!
